Beaver Statues
The Corporate Beaver Challenge is a chance for local businesses to participate in the 2nd Annual Great Canadian Beaver Race & Festival. Keep your eyes open for “Beavers in Barrie”. There are now 38 unsold Beavers on display throughout the City of Barrie.
Use the navigation toolbar on the left hand side of this page to check out images of various completed beavers and find their locations (move your cursor over “Beaver Statues” to begin – five albums will appear).
Barrie the Beaver is outdoor artwork produced by Mark Selkirk of Merlinworks. Any version of Barry the Beaver is 3 1/2 feet high, 4 feet long and 3 feet wide. Barrie weighs about 50 lbs and is made out of fiberglass to withstand outdoor temperatures. Below is Theodore which can be seen at the A Channel.
